DUG - Decoupled Drupal (Reminder)

Drupal Users Meeting - Decoupled DrupalHello All,

Please join us on Wednesday March 7, 2018 at 12 noon for a discussion on Decoupled Drupal by Rob Ellis, who is currently a Presales Solutions Architect for Acquia. Decoupled (or Headless) Drupal takes the approach of using the Drupal application for managing and storing structured content in the CMS, while using a client-side frameworks (e.g. Node.js) for the presentation layer. This approach enables front-end developers to fully control an application or site's rendered markup and user experience, while leveraging Drupal's structured content capabilities.

This session will include:
  • an overview of the different ways to display Drupal content (traditional, progressively decoupled and completely decoupled);
  • identifying the questions you'll want to ask when making the decision to decouple your Drupal site;
  • a review of the Reservoir distribution for decoupled projects;

We will follow up with a Q/A session. Kindly note that we will be in Seminar Room 3134 (3rd Floor).
